6B Gen Lite feeds into 1B Useful Ambience in series — tape degradation first, then swallowed by a soft, diffuse reverb. Gen Lite is set with moderate warble rate and mid-density crinkles: enough to feel like music bleeding through foam earbuds on a cheap Walkman, the tape slightly stretched from too many rewinds. The EQ on the left is darkened significantly — that muffled, bass-rolled quality of headphones under a wool hat in cold air. The reverb on the right is large and etheric with high diffusion, blurring the signal into something that feels half-remembered — the ambient hiss of dead leaves skittering across asphalt, the echo of an empty neighborhood at dusk. Spill is kept moderate so some of the dry signal bleeds through, grounding the effect just enough to feel real.
