1992 halloween nostalgia
By nitelite
R→L routing: the RIGHT 5A Impulse Synthesizer runs first — slow-gliding portamento with a long attack/release envelope creates those murky, low-budget cinematic synth pads that defined cheap horror VHS scores. It feeds into LEFT 6B Gen Lite (L_SWAP enabled), which layers on heavy tape warble, dense dropout crinkles, and VHS-era wow-and-flutter. EQ is rolled dark on both sides to push that dusty, analog TV speaker quality. Trails are kept on so notes decay into noisy, dissolving tails. The result is a synth-pad that sounds like it's playing through a rewound Halloween cassette — Carpenter-esque dread with degraded magnetic nostalgia baked in.
