3A Pinging Phaser into 5A Impulse Synthesizer. The phaser runs fast and near self-oscillation — yowling, rubbery, cartoonish sweeps that mimic that unmistakable feline wail. It feeds into the sub-octave synth with a slow portamento and a long attack/release, turning each screech into a bloated, groaning cinematic pad. The result is something between a distressed animal and a horror movie score: melodramatic, unsettling, and weirdly beautiful.
