Psalm 23:4

By nitelite

Inspired by Psalm 23:4: "Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me." This setting begins with a spacious, shadowy foundation and gradually reveals a radiant, reassuring halo above it. Shimmer uses Shift 1=+Octave and Shift 2=+Octave & 5th, with moderate Amount so the light feels present but not overly synthetic. Regen mode lets the elevated voices bloom from the reverb tail, suggesting comfort and guidance emerging through darkness. The very long decay creates an enduring, cathedral-like atmosphere; 34 steps of pre-delay preserves the original phrase clearly before the reverb opens behind it. A slightly bright Tone gives the upper shimmer a gentle glow, while moderate Mod adds living movement without destabilizing the passage.
