Strymon BigSky — MIDI Editor & CC Reference

Control the Strymon BigSky from your browser — full MIDI CC reference for 8 parameters, interactive editor, and AI-generated presets. Free, no install.

Nitelite gives the BigSky a full browser-based control surface: turn every knob, flip every switch, describe the tone you want to the AI Tone Terminal, and save the results — all sent to the pedal live over MIDI (default channel 1). Works free in Chrome, Edge, Opera, or Brave — no install required.

Special MIDI Functions

  • Expression — CC 100
  • Persist (Trails) — CC 22. When on, reverb trails continue to decay after bypassing the pedal. Requires Buffered Bypass mode.
  • MIDI Clock — CC 71. Enables MIDI Clock input so tempo-synced reverb machines (e.g. Magneto) lock to an external clock source.
  • Expression Enable — CC 60. Enables or disables the expression pedal input. When off, the EXP jack is ignored.
  • Value Encoder — CC 20. Controls the VALUE encoder. Send 0 to decrement, 1 to increment the currently selected parameter value.
  • Boost — CC 23. Analog boost/cut, roughly -3dB to +3dB. The midpoint (30) is unity gain; lower values cut, higher values boost.
  • MIDI Patch Bank — CC 0. Selects the active MIDI patch bank. Bank 0 = presets 00A–42B, Bank 1 = 42C–85A, Bank 2 = 85B–99C. Send before a Program Change to access all 300 presets.
  • Remote TAP — CC 93. Sends a tap tempo pulse to BigSky. Any CC value triggers the tap. Connect to an external tap footswitch or MIDI controller.

Hardware Presets

The BigSky has 300 hardware preset slots. Nitelite can save your current settings to a slot and recall slots via MIDI program change.
