Control the Eventide Space from your browser — MIDI control reference, interactive editor, and AI-generated presets. Free, no install.
Explore the Space controls in your browser and connect compatible MIDI hardware to send settings to your pedal. The reference below shows the controls mapped in Nitelite; available functions depend on the pedal and firmware. The default MIDI channel in Nitelite is 1. Browser MIDI control works in Chrome, Edge, Opera, or Brave — no install required.

MIDI CC
Description
MIX
CC 22
Wet/dry mix — 0% is all dry, 100% is all wet signal
DECAY
CC 23
Reverb decay time (algorithm-dependent range). For Magneto: delay time. For Nonlinear: nonlinear time.
SIZE
CC 24
Room/reverb size — algorithm-dependent
DELAY
CC 25
Pre-delay time in ms or note-based. For Magneto/Nonlinear: feedback amount.
LOW
CC 26
Low frequency shelving boost/cut — algorithm-dependent
HIGH
CC 27
High frequency shelving boost/cut — algorithm-dependent
XNOB
CC 28
Algorithm-specific parameter (varies per algorithm)
YNOB
CC 29
Algorithm-specific parameter (varies per algorithm)
Post-reverb shelving boost/cut of low frequencies with cut-off at 350 Hz
HI-LVL
CC 27
Post-reverb shelving boost/cut of high frequencies with cut-off at 2000 Hz
SC 10+RV 10
CC 31
Sidechain input mixer — left is input only, right is reverb output derived gain; OMNIMODE: fade between feedforward (FP) and feedback (FB)
THRSH
CC 30
Threshold for the Omnipressor/gate
REL
CC 29
Release time for the Omnipressor/gate in seconds
OMRATIO
CC 28
Ratio control for the Omnipressor — from traditional gated to expansion, compression, limiting, and dynamic reversal
Shimmer

MIDI CC
Description
LOW-DCY
CC 26
Amount of post-reverb and pitch-shifter low band signal in the feedback path
HI-DCY
CC 27
Amount of post-reverb and pitch-shifter high band signal in the feedback path
MID-DCY
CC 31
Amount of post-reverb and pitch-shifter mid band signal in the feedback path
PITCH-DCY
CC 30
Controls feedback around the reverberator and therefore amount of pitch-shifted signal
A-PCH
CC 29
Pitch-shifter A pitch in cents (500c=P4th, 700c=P5th, 1200c=1 Octave, 1900=1 Octave+P5, 2400=2 Octaves)
B-PCH
CC 28
Pitch-shifter B pitch in cents (same range as A-PCH)
Footswitches
ACTIVE — CC 85
HOTSWITCH — CC 86
TAP — CC 87
Special MIDI Functions
Tap Tempo — CC 87
Expression — CC 15
Bypass — CC 85. When on, the pedal is bypassed (dry signal only). When off, the effect is engaged. Mirrors the left footswitch.
HotSwitch — CC 86. Toggle or enable the HotSwitch function. Mirrors the center footswitch. When engaged, switches the preset to its HotSwitch alternate parameter settings.
Hardware Presets
Space has 100 hardware preset slots, recalled using MIDI Program Change. Saving requires an action on the pedal; follow the hardware preset manager instructions.
