Save a sound worth keeping

Use this when you’ve found a sound you want to play again. Sign in first. Saving here keeps a cloud preset; storing it on the pedal is a separate task.

Save a new preset

Start with the sound on screen. Once the output and channel are correct, use Sync to Pedal to send those settings, then adjust and listen. This changes the pedal’s current sound. It cannot capture settings dialed only on the hardware.

1. Finish adjusting the sound on screen. Play it once more at your normal level.
2. Click Save in the pedal header.
3. Choose Save as new. Enter a name you will recognize later, such as Afterglow · rehearsal.
4. Add an optional description and comma-separated tags. Check Private before submitting; new presets default to private.
5. Click Save preset and wait for the dialog to close successfully. Find it in My Presets or the pedal’s Presets menu.

Simulated example Save as new keeps another version. Check the name and visibility before saving.

1. Save as new keeps another version; Update existing replaces one you choose.
2. Private keeps the preset in your account. Check this before sharing.
3. Save preset stores these settings in the cloud. Hardware saving is separate.

The dialog captures your working settings when it opens. Close and reopen it if you need to change the sound before saving.

Update a favorite

1. Load your preset and make the changes you want.
2. Open Save, choose Update existing, and select the preset to replace.
3. Check its name and visibility. Click Update preset.

Choosing an existing preset in this dialog selects the cloud record to update. It does not load that preset’s sound over your changes.

For a variation, choose Save as new instead. A useful pair might be Afterglow · rhythm and Afterglow · lead, with notes about what differs.

Check that you kept it

Load the saved preset from Presets and check the settings. If hardware is connected, listen too. Saving to the cloud doesn’t update a hardware slot you’ve already assigned; rewrite that slot using the pedal’s own procedure when you want the new version on the board.
