Source Audio Artifakt Lo-Fi — MIDI Editor & CC Reference

Control the Source Audio Artifakt Lo-Fi from your browser — full MIDI CC reference for 8 parameters, interactive editor, and AI-generated presets. Free, no install.

Nitelite gives the Artifakt Lo-Fi a full browser-based control surface: turn every knob, flip every switch, describe the tone you want to the AI Tone Terminal, and save the results — all sent to the pedal live over MIDI (default channel 1). Works free in Chrome, Edge, Opera, or Brave — no install required.

Knobs

ControlMIDI CCDescription
DESTRUCTCC 36Destroys, mangles, or distorts the signal. Function varies per engine: distortion drive, tape saturation, signal dropout frequency, bit quantization, scratch noise, etc.
FILTERCC 15Ladder filter center-point frequency (fully closed at max, no filtering at min) or treble tone control depending on engine. In Ladder engine, controls the Moog-style ladder LPF cutoff.
MIXCC 0Wet/dry mix of the effect. 0 = full dry, 127 = full wet. In some engines, controls only the time-based signal or the overall combined level.
VARYCC 53Variable function per engine: delay time (Tape), reverb decay (uVerb), sample rate reduction (Crush), envelope control (Ladder), compression (Radio), vinyl distortion/randomness (Vinyl), glitch input sensitivity (Glitch).
MODCC 56Modulation parameter controlled by the Rate/Depth/Shape toggle. Adjusts LFO rate, depth, or shape of one of the two onboard LFOs depending on toggle position.

Alt / Secondary Knob Functions

ControlMIDI CCDescription
DESTRUCT TYPECC 35Distortion type: 0=Digital Clip, 1=Overdrive, 2=Asymmetric, 3=Hard Clip, 4=Diode, 5=Smooth Diode, 6=Gated, 7=Octave, 8=Smooth Octave, 9=Fold, 10=Extra Fold, 11=Fold Octave, 12=Diode Octave, 13=Fold Smooth Octave, 14=Gate Diode Octave, 15=Gate Fold Octave
FILTER QCC 16Ladder filter resonance (Q). Higher values create a more resonant, peaky filter sound.
VOLUMECC 4Overall output level. 0 = -Inf, 64 = 0dB, 127 = +6dB. Accessible by pressing ALT button while turning MIX knob.

Per-Mode Parameters

Radio

ControlMIDI CCDescription
DROPOUTSCC 8Frequency of signal dropouts. Left = clearer signal, Right = poor signal that frequently drops in & out.
COMPRESSIONCC 20Level of compression applied to the signal. Left = no compression, Right = full compression.
TREBLECC 3Treble level. Noon = flat response. Adjusts high-frequency content.
NOISECC 7Enable/disable signal failure noise (0=Off, 1=On). Toggled via OPTION footswitch.
HUM LEVELCC 13Level of hum/noise generator.

Tape

ControlMIDI CCDescription
SATURATIONCC 62Tape saturation amount, a combination of compression and light overdrive.
FEEDBACKCC 54Delay feedback amount. Controls how many repeats of the tape delay.
TREBLECC 3Treble level. Dial back for true tape warmth. Noon = flat response.
DELAY MIXCC 51Delay wet/dry mix. 0 = full dry, 127 = full wet.

uVerb

ControlMIDI CCDescription
DISTORTIONCC 36Adds distortion to the reverb engine. Left = no distortion, Right = maximum distortion.
