Alt / Secondary Knob Functions

| RESO | CC 35 | Resonance control on the amp (ALT mode on the Pre Gain knob). Adds low-bass content; above noon can add a lot of low end. Output level is auto-compensated at higher Reso settings. |
| GATE | CC 71 | Noise gate threshold (ALT mode on the Presence knob). Increase until amp noise is stopped but your softest playing is still heard. The noise gate is bypassed at minimum. Adjusting this also enables the gate if it is not already on. |
| OVERDRIVE | CC 42 | Overdrive pedal gain (TS) or low EQ / Bass (TC) (ALT mode on the Low knob). For classic '90s death metal TS tones, set fully counter-clockwise with passive pickups or just above with active/high-output pickups. In TC mode this is the Bass control — set off for ultra-tight djent, raise for looser or thicker metal tones. |

Special MIDI Functions
- Overdrive Enable — CC 40. Toggles the overdrive (Boost) pedal on/off. The overdrive can also be enabled by turning the High/OD Level knob above minimum in ALT mode.
- Overdrive Type (TS / TC) — CC 45. Selects the overdrive pedal model. OFF = TS (classic green pedal with gain/tone/volume — tight, mid-boosted, perfect front end for crushing metal tones). ON = TC (rare vintage black preamp pedal with volume/bass/treble — more control when pushing the front end, great for math-metal djent).
- Noise Gate Enable — CC 70. Toggles the built-in noise gate on/off. Adjusting the Gate threshold (ALT on Presence) also enables the gate automatically if it is not on.
- Input Routing (High) — CC 21. Sets whether the low or high amp input is used. OFF = Low (cleaner, default for RTHM), ON = High (more gain, default for CRNCH and LEAD). Per-channel setting.
- Bright Switch — CC 36. When on, adds bite and edge to your tone. Global setting. Does not have an audible effect on the LEAD channel.
- Gate Attack — CC 73. How fast the gate opens when the signal exceeds Threshold. Low values = fast, high = slow. Set fast for classic metal.
- Gate Release — CC 74. How fast the gate closes when the signal falls below Threshold. Low values = fast, high = slow. Set fast for classic metal; raise if decaying notes are cut off too soon.
- Gate Hold — CC 72. How long the threshold-level signal is held before release begins. Adjust together with Release to avoid "chatter."
- Gate Attenuation — CC 75. Amount of noise reduction when the gate is closed. Higher values prevent all noise; lower values pass some noise. Set to max for classic metal.
- Bias Mode — CC 26. Power-tube bias and configuration (0–3). 0 = Cool (reduced mids, plenty of saturation). 1 = Warm (classic hardware mod, open midrange, warmer leads and vintage crunch). 2 = Cool Choke (reduced mids, tighter and crisper, less fuzzy). 3 = Warm Choke (open mids, crisper and tighter with less fuzz).
- Post Gain — CC 25. Additional output gain with harmonic content, modeled from the original amp's Post Gain control. Acts like a master volume.
- Room — CC 30. Amount of room ambience from the tracking-room microphones. Has no effect when the speaker cab is bypassed (No Cab). With heavily distorted sounds and lots of low-end content, large amounts may not be useful.
- Cab Up — CC 14. Cycles the Cab switch up through the speaker list (momentary).
- Cab Down — CC 15. Cycles the Cab switch down through the speaker list (momentary).
- Store Preset (Hold) — CC 16. Emulates holding the ALT/AMP/STORE switch. Sends value 1 to save the current Live-mode settings to the currently selected preset slot.

ANTI 1992 has 128 hardware preset slots, recalled using MIDI Program Change. Saving requires an action on the pedal; follow the hardware preset manager instructions.
