Control the Universal Audio Ruby '63 from your browser — full MIDI CC reference for 8 parameters, interactive editor, and AI-generated presets. Free, no install.
Nitelite gives the Ruby '63 a full browser-based control surface: turn every knob, flip every switch, describe the tone you want to the AI Tone Terminal, and save the results — all sent to the pedal live over MIDI (default channel 1). Works free in Chrome, Edge, Opera, or Brave — no install required.
| Control | MIDI CC | Description |
|---|---|---|
| VOLUME | CC 22 | Amp gain. As volume increases, the amp becomes more overdriven and compressed. Even at minimum the amp is still audible — output is automatically compensated as Volume is raised. |
| CUT | CC 36 | Power-amp high-frequency filter. Turning the knob clockwise reduces high frequencies and darkens the amp tone. The UAFX range is expanded over the original (which had a narrow sweet spot). |
| OUTPUT | CC 7 | Post-amp output level. At noon, running direct or into other pedals, level is roughly the same as bypassed volume. Not available on the original amp. |
| BASS | CC 31 | Reduces the low-frequency response of the amp's tone stack — works in reverse of most EQ knobs (higher value = more cut). Active only on the Brilliant channel; the Speaker LED blinks rapidly to indicate the knob is inactive on Normal or Vibrato channels. |
| TREBLE | CC 33 | Reduces the high-frequency response of the amp's tone stack — works in reverse of most EQ knobs (higher value = more cut). Active only on the Brilliant channel. Interacts strongly with Bass: both fully up creates an extreme 'smiley-face' EQ; both near noon gives the fullest, most natural midrange. |
| BOOST | CC 41 | Boost amount. 0 (OFF) disables the boost circuitry entirely. Character depends on the Channel switch: Brilliant adds EP-III tape-echo preamp gain, Normal adds a Dallas Rangemaster-style germanium treble booster, Vibrato adds clean boost with a slight mid/treble lift and bass tightening. |

|---|---|---|
| ROOM | CC 30 | Room ambience amount (ALT mode on the Bass knob). Mixes room microphones from a tracking room into the cabinet signal. Only affects the sound when a speaker cabinet is active — has no effect when the Speaker LED is off (No Cab) or in 4-cable mode. |
| SPEED | CC 61 | Vibrato rate (ALT mode on the Treble knob). Only active on the Vibrato channel. The pedal's vibrato speed range extends slower than the original amp. |
| INTENSITY | CC 62 | Vibrato intensity / harmonic contour (ALT mode on the Boost knob). 0 bypasses the vibrato circuit. Only active on the Vibrato channel. Lower settings yield harmonic tremolo-type tones; higher settings produce more aggressive volume-tremolo character. |
| Switch | MIDI CC | Positions |
