Knobs

DECAY	CC 23	Reverb tail time. Behavior depends on the active effect: Spring 65 selects one of three fixed-decay tanks (Shorter/Stock/Longer thirds), Plate 140 is continuous 0.5-5.0s reverb time, Hall 224 and Chamber & Plate 224 set the midrange-based reverb tail time (Bass/Treble decays depend on this control).
PREDELAY	CC 24	Time before reverb onset. Spring 65 / Plate 140: 0-250 ms. Hall 224: 24-255 ms (Room A / Small Hall A), 24-152 ms (Large Hall B). Chamber & Plate 224: Percussion Plate A 0-107 ms, Constant Density Plate A 5-185 ms, Acoustic Chamber 25-255 ms.
MIX	CC 22	Reverb level mixed with the dry signal. Fully clockwise (127) is 100% wet — the dry signal is muted (kill dry).
BASS	CC 25	Low-frequency shelf filter or decay depending on mode. Spring 65: low shelf on reverb signal only, 200 Hz cutoff ±10 dB (flat at noon). Plate 140: low shelf ±12 dB at 150 Hz (flat at noon). Hall 224 / Chamber & Plate 224: reverb decay time for low frequencies below 540 Hz, 0.6s-70s; very high values can cause self-oscillation.
TREBLE	CC 26	High-frequency shelf filter or decay depending on mode. Spring 65: high shelf on reverb signal only, 5 kHz cutoff ±10 dB (flat at noon). Plate 140: high shelf ±12 dB at 5 kHz (flat at noon). Hall 224 / Chamber & Plate 224: frequency above which decay is very rapid (100 Hz-10.9 kHz); lower values make the reverb darker; very low Treble makes Bass have little effect.
MOD	CC 27	Amount and/or rate of modulation added to the reverb. Spring 65: Wow & Flutter derived from the Tape EP-III — first half of knob adds predictable chorus-like wow, past noon tape flutter is enhanced and gets more random and chaotic. Plate 140: modulation depth and speed, adds dispersion and thickens the reverb tail. Hall 224 / Chamber & Plate 224: Mod Shift — increases movement and modulation in the reverb tail.

Special MIDI Functions

Effect Up — CC 14. Cycles the Effect Type switch up through the reverb models (Spring 65 → Plate 140 → Hall 224 → Chamber & Plate 224). Send value 1 to toggle.
Effect Down — CC 15. Cycles the Effect Type switch down through the reverb models. Send value 1 to toggle.
Store Preset (Hold) — CC 16. Emulates holding the STORE switch down. Sends value 1 to save the current Live-mode sound to the Preset slot. The green PRESET LED blinks rapidly (~0.5s) to confirm.

Hardware Presets

The Golden Reverberator has 128 hardware preset slots. Nitelite can save your current settings to a slot and recall slots via MIDI program change.
