GAIN

Preamp gain. As gain increases, the sound gets increasingly distorted and saturated, especially on the ORG and RED channels.
PRESENCE

Adds high-end sparkle and grit to the sound. On the Red channel in Vintage style, this controls the high-midrange; Orange Presence (CC 35) then adjusts the ultra-high end.
OUTPUT

Overall output level from the pedal. Strictly the output volume — not the same as Master (which behaves more like a power-amp master volume).

Room ambience amount mixed into the signal (ALT mode on the Gain knob). Adds studio ambience and air.
GATE THRESHOLD

Noise gate threshold (ALT mode on the Presence knob). Sets the level at which the gate opens/closes. Bypassed at minimum. Adjusting this enables the noise gate if it's not already enabled.
OD DRIVE

Overdrive gain (TS) or low-EQ cut (TC) (ALT mode on the Low knob). For classic '90s metal tones, set low or off; for djent tones on TC, fully counter-clockwise.
OD TONE

Overdrive tone (TS) or treble EQ (TC) (ALT mode on the Mid knob). Typically sounds best between noon and 2 o'clock.
OD LEVEL

Overdrive output level (TS) or volume (TC) (ALT mode on the High knob). Set to minimum to disable the overdrive pedal. Overdrive is routed before the amp input, so this pushes the front end into thicker distortion rather than raising overall output.

Special MIDI Functions
Overdrive Enable — CC 40. Toggles the built-in overdrive (TS/TC) circuit on/off independent of the OD Level knob position.
Overdrive Type (TC) — CC 45. Toggles between TS (off, default — classic green pedal with gain/tone/volume) and TC (on — rare vintage black preamp pedal with volume/bass/treble, massive control when pushing the front end).
Noise Gate Enable — CC 70. Toggles the noise gate on/off. The gate detects the guitar signal at the input but acts at the end of the signal chain.
Power Tubes (EL34) — CC 26. Toggles between 6L6 (off, factory — brighter, deeper, with scooped midrange) and EL34 (on — more British character, warmer midrange, less bottom and top end).
Tube Rectifier — CC 28. Toggles between Solid State (off — faster transient response, tighter, more articulate feel) and Tube (on — looser, slower response; good for cleans, rock rhythm, and open lead tones).
Power Mode (Spongy) — CC 27. Toggles between Bold (off — power tubes run at increased voltage for a more aggressive, punchy sound) and Spongy (on — reduced power-tube voltage for a softer, more heavy rock sound).
Master Gain — CC 25. Master volume — adds another level of output gain with some harmonic content, based on the Master Volume control from the original amp.
Gate Attack — CC 73. Time before the noise gate opens when signal is detected. Set fast for the quickest gate opening.
Gate Release — CC 74. Time before the gate closes after signal drops below threshold. Set for a natural release.
Gate Hold — CC 72. How long the gate holds the note after it drops below threshold, before Release starts. Works with Release to avoid "note chatter."
Gate Attenuation — CC 75. Amount of signal reduction when the gate is closed. Can be set high with correct settings to completely silence amp noise.
Channel Style — CC 20. Selects the alternate Channel Style (Orange and Red channels only). 0 = Normal (Red and Orange), 1 = Modern (Red channel — more scooped, more high end, tighter lows, thick grainy distortion), 2 = Vintage (Orange channel — pointy-headstock territory, lots of mids/treble, dual presence controls with reduced gain).
Orange Presence — CC 35. Adjusts Orange Presence on the Red channel in Vintage mode. The Presence knob sets high-midrange; this sets the ultra-high end. Very interactive.
Speaker Up — CC 14. Cycles the Speaker switch up through the cab list (momentary).
Speaker Down — CC 15. Cycles the Speaker switch down through the cab list (momentary).
Store Preset (Hold) — CC 16. Emulates holding the ALT/AMP/STORE switch. Sends value 1 to save the current Live-mode settings to the active preset slot.
