Shape your sound

Open a pedal to see the controls Nitelite maps for it. The layout follows that pedal’s definition; available knobs, switches, hold functions, and secondary settings vary.

Drag a knob or adjust its slider. Select a switch position to change modes. When an output is available, these changes send MIDI on the active pedal’s channel. Play while adjusting so your ears can confirm the result.

Physical knob movements do not update Nitelite. If the app and pedal disagree, decide which settings you want before pressing Sync to Pedal.

ActionWhat it does
Sync to PedalSends current app settings over MIDI again. Does not read hardware or save a slot.
RandomizeChanges supported parameters within the app’s configured randomization ranges. It can send those changes to hardware.
ResetRestores Nitelite’s starting values for this pedal and sends them. This is not a hardware factory reset.
Tap TempoSends the pedal’s configured tap message, when supported.
Hidden SettingsOpens secondary/global controls and firmware choices where defined.

Save a keeper before experimenting. The header’s Undo and Redo step through available working history; a named preset is the better way to return in a later session.

Open Hidden Settings. Read each control’s description before changing it: bypass behavior, expression options, and other global settings can affect more than the current sound. Only controls implemented for that pedal appear.

For pedals with a Firmware selector, choose the version installed on your hardware. Nitelite uses this choice for the controls and AI context; it does not install an update or detect your firmware automatically.

The firmware choice follows your hardware version. Changing this menu does not update the pedal. ↗ Enlarge

Check the version using the manufacturer’s procedure. If a control behaves differently from its label, start with this choice and the pedal’s support badge.
