Find and keep presets

Open Library in the sidebar. Browse contains public presets; My Presets contains the ones you’ve saved. Use the pedal filter, search, tags, and sort controls to find a starting point.

Audition a community preset

1. Open a preset and read its description. Check which pedal it is for.
2. Choose Load into Pedal. If it belongs to another pedal, Nitelite asks you to switch first.
3. Play and listen. Loading merges the preset’s settings into the app and sends them over MIDI, while keeping your configured MIDI channel.
4. Adjust the sound for your guitar and amp.

Some presets only contain a subset of settings. Don’t assume loading a preset resets every global or hidden option.

Loading a preset changes your working sound. Save anything you want to keep before auditioning another.

Save your version

After loading and adjusting, use Save in the pedal header or Save Copy in the detail view. The save dialog takes the current on-screen settings. Load into Pedal first if you want to copy the preset you’re viewing; opening its detail alone doesn’t load it.

Choose Save as new, give it a name, and check its visibility. See the save walkthrough for creating and updating presets.

Share something useful

A good description says how you used the sound: guitar, pickup, other effects, and whether the mix works under a band or on its own. Tags help people find it. A Terminal badge identifies an AI-generated preset; a public preset may include its saved AI prompt.

Likes, comments, follows, and saving require an account. Following brings together presets from creators you follow. My Packs groups your presets into collections.

Before making a preset public, review its name, description, and any included prompt. Save a private version while you are still working on it.
