Read the support badge
The badge beside a pedal’s name describes the evidence behind its integration. Open it for known gaps and details before relying on a control.
| Badge | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| Verified | The integration has been tested against a physical pedal. |
| Polished | The implementation has automated tests, but has not yet been hardware-verified. |
| Functional | Mapped from the official MIDI manual, without hardware verification yet. |
| Experimental | Early support; some mappings are unverified or may be unreliable. |
| Planned | Support is planned and not yet usable. |
Verified is not a guarantee for every firmware, cable, or rig. Your own quick control and recall tests still matter.
Report a hardware test
Section titled “Report a hardware test”Sign in, open the badge, and choose Works or Had issues under the test-report form. Include the exact pedal, firmware, output/interface, channel, and control tested.
A useful issue report might say: Mode switch: choosing the second position on screen selects the third position on my pedal. Other knobs respond correctly. Add what happened and what you expected. Never mark a simulated test as a hardware test.
