Pedal Maturity & Test Reports
Every pedal in Nitelite shows a maturity badge next to its name — an honest signal of how battle-tested that pedal’s MIDI integration is. Lower tiers aren’t broken, they’re just less verified.

The Tiers

| Verified | Tested against the physical pedal — an owner or user has confirmed real hardware behavior. |
| Polished | Complete, accurate implementation with automated tests — not yet hardware-verified. |
| Functional | Mapped from the official MIDI manual — not yet verified on hardware. Most pedals are here. |
| Experimental | Early implementation — some MIDI mappings are unverified and may be unreliable (for example assignable CCs or complex mode formulas). |
| Planned | Support is planned but not yet usable. |
Click the badge to see the details for that pedal: what the tier means, and any known gaps in the integration.
Why This Exists
Section titled “Why This Exists”Most pedal integrations are built from the manufacturer’s official MIDI documentation. Manuals are usually right — but occasionally a CC assignment is a typo, a switch behaves differently than documented, or a firmware update changes things. The only way to know for sure is to test against real hardware, and no one owns all 115 pedals.
Report Your Own Test
Section titled “Report Your Own Test”If you’ve run a pedal with your actual rig, you can help it earn Verified status:
- Open the pedal in Nitelite and click its maturity badge.
- Under “Tested this on your pedal?”, choose Works or Had issues, and add notes if you have them (which control, what happened).
- Submit.
Reports go straight to the developer and are the evidence used to promote pedals up the tiers. If something didn’t work, notes like “the mode switch selects the wrong mode” are gold — that’s usually a one-line fix once it’s known.
