Special MIDI Functions

  • Expression — CC 100
  • Volume Pedal Pre/Post — CC 9. Sets whether the volume pedal acts before (pre) or after (post) the amp processing. Pre attenuates the input drive; Post attenuates the final output.
  • Amp Disable — CC 21. Bypasses the amp simulation entirely, passing signal through the cab IR only. Useful for using Iridium solely as a cabinet/IR loader with an external preamp.
  • MIDI Expression On/Off — CC 60. Controls whether Iridium responds to incoming MIDI Expression messages (CC 100). Disable this when sharing a MIDI channel with other pedals to prevent unintended expression control.
  • Bank Select — CC 0. Selects the active MIDI preset bank. Bank 0 = presets 0-127, Bank 1 = 128-255, Bank 2 = 256-299. Send before a Program Change to access the target bank.
  • Volume Pedal — CC 7. Controls the volume pedal level (pre or post, depending on the EXP Jack Mode setting). At 0 the signal is fully attenuated; at 127 it is at full volume.

Hardware Presets

Iridium has 300 hardware preset slots, recalled using MIDI Program Change. Saving requires an action on the pedal; follow the hardware preset manager instructions.
