Special MIDI Functions
- Tap Tempo — CC 93
- Expression — CC 100
- Bypass A and B — CC 33. Controls bypass state of both Tape Saturation and Doubletracker simultaneously. Off = both bypassed, On = both active.
- MIDI Expression — CC 60. Enables or disables the MIDI Expression feature. When off, the expression pedal/CC 100 has no effect. Default is on.
- Auto-Flange — CC 97. Triggers the Auto-Flange effect. While on, Deco produces a studio-style flanging sweep. Turn off to stop the effect.
- Bank Select — CC 0. Selects the MIDI patch bank. Bank 0 = presets 0–127, Bank 1 = presets 128–255, Bank 2 = presets 256–299. Send before a Program Change to access presets above 127.
- MIDI Clock Tempo Mult/Div — CC 25. When MIDI Clock Sync is enabled, sets the tempo multiplier/divider for the Lag Time. 0=x1/2, 1=x1, 2=x2, 3=x3, 4=x4, 5=x6, 6=x8.
Hardware Presets
Deco V2 has 300 hardware preset slots, recalled using MIDI Program Change. Saving requires an action on the pedal; follow the hardware preset manager instructions.
