Control the Strymon NightSky from your browser — full MIDI CC reference for 25 parameters, interactive editor, and AI-generated presets. Free, no install.
Nitelite gives the NightSky a full browser-based control surface: turn every knob, flip every switch, describe the tone you want to the AI Tone Terminal, and save the results — all sent to the pedal live over MIDI (default channel 1). Works free in Chrome, Edge, Opera, or Brave — no install required.

MIDI CC
Description
LENGTH
CC 18
Reverb decay time from less than one second to nearly infinite sustain
SIZE/PITCH
CC 20
Reverb core size — also controls pitch when audio is in the buffer
REVERB
CC 11
Output level of the reverberated signal
DRY
CC 12
Output level of the dry signal (min=silent, noon=unity, max=+3dB boost)
SPEED
CC 13
Modulation rate from 0.06Hz (16s sweep) to 12Hz (0.08s sweep)
DEPTH
CC 15
Modulation amount (off at minimum; for envelope shape, off at 12 o'clock)
LOW CUT
CC 22
Removes low end from output and regenerating core as knob is turned clockwise
HIGH CUT
CC 23
Removes high frequencies from reverb — behavior set by Filter mode
INTERVAL
CC 26
Shimmer pitch interval from -octave to +octave (12=detune, 13=+detune)
SHIMMER
CC 29
Amount of shimmer effect (off at minimum)
PRE-DELAY
CC 17
Time between dry signal and reverb onset
GLIMMER GAIN
CC 31
Sensitivity of the glimmer effect to the input signal
DRIVE LEVEL
CC 34
Sensitivity of the drive effect
LOWPASS Q
CC 25
Filter Q / resonance sharpness when Filter is set to lowpass
Min Pent / Maj Pent / Major / Dorian / Min Blues / Harm Min / Whole Tone / Diminished
Footswitches
ON — bypass on CC 80
FAVORITE — bypass on CC 81
INFINITE — bypass on CC 82
Special MIDI Functions
Expression — CC 100
Freeze — CC 35. Freezes the reverb tail — holds the current reverb indefinitely while bypassing new input to the reverb core.
Morph — CC 36. Engages Morph — sweeps from the current preset settings to the saved Morph destination at the rate set by MORPH SPEED.
Sequence Mode — CC 41. Switches between Preset mode (0) and Sequence mode (1–127). In Sequence mode the 8-step sequencer drives SIZE/PITCH.
Sequencer Step 1 On/Off — CC 42. Enables or disables step 1 of the 8-step sequencer.
Sequencer Step 2 On/Off — CC 43. Enables or disables step 2 of the 8-step sequencer.
Sequencer Step 3 On/Off — CC 44. Enables or disables step 3 of the 8-step sequencer.
Sequencer Step 4 On/Off — CC 45. Enables or disables step 4 of the 8-step sequencer.
Sequencer Step 5 On/Off — CC 46. Enables or disables step 5 of the 8-step sequencer.
Sequencer Step 6 On/Off — CC 47. Enables or disables step 6 of the 8-step sequencer.
Sequencer Step 7 On/Off — CC 48. Enables or disables step 7 of the 8-step sequencer.
Sequencer Step 8 On/Off — CC 49. Enables or disables step 8 of the 8-step sequencer.
MIDI Expression On/Off — CC 60. Enables MIDI expression pedal control via CC 100. When on, an expression pedal connected via MIDI can sweep parameters in real time.
MIDI Clock On/Off — CC 63. Enables MIDI clock sync. When on, NightSky syncs its modulation and sequencer timing to incoming MIDI clock.
Bank Select — CC 0. Selects the MIDI preset bank. Bank 0 = presets 0–127, Bank 1 = 128–255, Bank 2 = 256–299. Send before a Program Change to access banks 1 and 2.
Sequencer Step 1 Size — CC 50. SIZE/PITCH value for sequencer step 1 — sets the pitch interval played when this step is active.
Sequencer Step 2 Size — CC 51. SIZE/PITCH value for sequencer step 2.
Sequencer Step 3 Size — CC 52. SIZE/PITCH value for sequencer step 3.
Sequencer Step 4 Size — CC 53. SIZE/PITCH value for sequencer step 4.
Sequencer Step 5 Size — CC 54. SIZE/PITCH value for sequencer step 5.
Sequencer Step 6 Size — CC 55. SIZE/PITCH value for sequencer step 6.
Sequencer Step 7 Size — CC 56. SIZE/PITCH value for sequencer step 7.
Sequencer Step 8 Size — CC 57. SIZE/PITCH value for sequencer step 8.
Sequence Tap — CC 93. Taps the sequencer tempo — send any value to advance the tap tempo for the sequencer rate.
Hardware Presets
The NightSky has 300 hardware preset slots. Nitelite can save your current settings to a slot and recall slots via MIDI program change.
