Control the Chase Bliss Clean from your browser — full MIDI CC reference for 9 parameters, interactive editor, and AI-generated presets. Free, no install.
Nitelite gives the Clean a full browser-based control surface: turn every knob, flip every switch, describe the tone you want to the AI Tone Terminal, and save the results — all sent to the pedal live over MIDI (default channel 2). Works free in Chrome, Edge, Opera, or Brave — no install required.

MIDI CC
Description
DYNAMICS
CC 14
Amount of compression. Transitions: compression → limiting → sag.
SENSITIVITY
CC 15
Dynamic threshold. Higher = more responsive. Controls ramp speed when ramping engaged.
WET
CC 16
Processed signal loudness with healthy boost capability
ATTACK
CC 17
Compression onset speed (0.5ms to 300ms). Also controls EQ motion speed.
Unprocessed signal loudness with healthy boost capability

Noise gate threshold level
SWELL IN
CC 26
Time to reach full volume when Swell is engaged
USER REL
CC 27
Custom value for middle RELEASE position. Default: 650ms.
BAL FILTER
CC 28
Filters low frequencies from envelope detection

MOTION
CC 76
Enables motion mode for dynamic, evolving effects
SWELL AUX
CC 77
Auxiliary swell behavior modifications
DUSTY
CC 78
Cassette-style noise reduction and lo-fi character
Footswitches
SWELL — bypass on CC 103, hold on CC 105
BYPASS — bypass on CC 102, hold on CC 106
Special MIDI Functions
Expression — CC 100
Ramp/Bounce — CC 52. Enables or disables the ramp/bounce modulation. When on, parameters enabled via CONTROL DIP switches will ramp or bounce according to the ramp settings.
ALT Menu — CC 104. Enters or exits the ALT menu (same as holding both footswitches on the pedal), giving access to secondary knob parameters.
Dynamics Max — CC 106. Activates the Dynamics Max function (same as holding the right footswitch on the pedal), pushing the compressor to maximum dynamics.
Ramp Speed — CC 20. Controls how fast the ramp travels between the start and end points set by the enabled CONTROL DIP switches.
Envelope Mode — CC 31. Sets the envelope detection algorithm. Analog: classic optical-style, Hybrid: blends analog and digital detection, Adaptive: intelligent detection that adjusts to your playing.
Shifty Mode — CC 32. Sets how the SHIFTY EQ mode responds to your playing. ASR Shifty: attack/sustain/release-triggered EQ shift, Env Shifty: envelope-follower-driven EQ shift.
Spread Routing — CC 33. Determines which signal paths are spread across the stereo field. EQ: spreads the EQ processing, Both: spreads EQ and compression, Vol/Comp: spreads volume and compression.
Factory Reset — CC 56. Resets all settings and presets to factory defaults. This will erase all saved presets.
Hardware Presets
The Clean has 122 hardware preset slots. Nitelite can save your current settings to a slot and recall slots via MIDI program change.
