Control the Chase Bliss Habit from your browser — full MIDI CC reference for 9 parameters, interactive editor, and AI-generated presets. Free, no install.
Nitelite gives the Habit a full browser-based control surface: turn every knob, flip every switch, describe the tone you want to the AI Tone Terminal, and save the results — all sent to the pedal live over MIDI (default channel 2). Works free in Chrome, Edge, Opera, or Brave — no install required.

MIDI CC
Description
LEVEL
CC 14
Echo volume. When ramping engaged, controls ramp speed.
REPEATS
CC 15
Number of echoes. Max = stable infinite build-up (looping).
SIZE
CC 16
Delay time (50ms to 60s). Clean adjustment without pitch warping. Set via tap tempo.
MODIFY
CC 17
Echo sculpting effects. Selected by the [1 2 3] and [A OFF B] toggles.
SPREAD
CC 18
Secondary echo from memory. Min=off. Sets distance between primary/secondary echo.
SCAN
CC 19
Memory interaction. Auto: scanning frequency/distance. Manual (dip): direct memory position.

Control
MIDI CC
Description
RANDOM
CC 71
Random waveform for bounce movement instead of default shape
MANUAL
CC 72
Changes SCAN from automatic to manual memory position control
COLLECT
CC 73
Memory overdubbing: everything played layers and builds up over time
DRY KILL
CC 74
Removes clean signal from output for 100% wet
ALWAYS
CC 75
Memory records continuously, even when pedal is bypassed
LATCH
CC 76
Loop function changes from momentary to latching
WIPE
CC 77
Mutes the echo, leaving only memory active for minimal experience
TRAILS
CC 78
Echoes continue to fade out after bypass instead of cutting off
Footswitches
TAP — bypass on CC 93, hold on CC 25
BYPASS — bypass on CC 102, hold on CC 24
Special MIDI Functions
Tap Tempo — CC 93
Expression — CC 100
Loop — CC 24. Engage or disengage the loop function (equivalent to holding the right footswitch). Loop latching behavior is controlled by the LATCH DIP switch.
Momentary Scan — CC 25. Engage or disengage the momentary scan function (equivalent to holding the left footswitch). Triggers the SCAN L HOLD behavior.
MIDI Clock Listen — CC 51. Controls whether Habit responds to incoming MIDI Clock messages. On = listen (CC value 1+, clock sets delay time). Off = ignore (CC value 0, SIZE set manually or via tap tempo).
RAMP — CC 20. Ramp speed/depth for the selected ramping target (LEVEL, SIZE, SPREAD, MODIFY, or SCAN). Active when a Ramp/Expression DIP switch is enabled.
Clear Memory — CC 26. Clears the 3-minute memory buffer — equivalent to holding both footswitches simultaneously. This action cannot be undone.
Hardware Presets
The Habit has 122 hardware preset slots. Nitelite can save your current settings to a slot and recall slots via MIDI program change.
